New Bike Orders

Online Orders for new bikes.

The process on a new bike will be as follows:

Once we receive your order, it will be booked into our workshop to get built up and ready for you. 

The workshop will generate some automated emails to let you know the bike is with us. Someone will give you a call and run through some basic questions with you to make sure you bought the correct size bike etc.

We rely on getting the correct info from you to help guide on the correct size bike and getting the suspension setup etc. Weight, and height.

Please note this is a rough guide and will still require you to go for a bike fitting with your local store to get the finishing touch done to the bike. We cannot get the correct saddle height or setup without you physically being in the store with us. 

Things like saddle angles, seat heights, stem height all require a bike fitment to be done to get right. 

We do always recommend visiting your local store and purchasing the bike through them for the best fitment and service. This will eliminate any issues that new bikes give on the first few rides.

Once we have all of this info, you will get shipped the bike.

The bike will arrive without the front wheel, without the handlebars on, and without the pedals on. We do not send instructions to build bikes, as we suggest taking this to your local bike shop to assist you. 

Please note, fitting the pedals on the wrong side, cross threading pedals, fitting handbars on incorrectly are not covered under warranty unless your local Trek store set this up for you. We have some Trek partners that are able to assist you in JHB and Cape Town Central. Should you not want to pay your local store to do this initial setup for you, please contact us prior to making a purchase and we can confirm who we can direct you too.

Your new bike is covered under our insurance, until you sign for for the bike. Once you have signed, we are no longer covered for damages, theft etc.

If you receive a bike that is damaged, please notify us straight away so we can log the necessary claims.

Please note, stripping bolts, cross threading bolts, cross threading pedals are not warranties.

Please note the 30 day free service we offer is not carried over to another store, and needs to be done at our store in KZN.
