How your demo booking works

  1. Submit your preferred bike and date

    An online booking request is not final confirmation. Demo availability must first be checked by the Biket team.

  2. We confirm your rider information

    We will contact you for your height, weight and pedal choice so the bike can be prepared for your position and rider weight.

  3. Collect and ride from Biket Hillcrest

    Every demo starts and finishes at our store. Demo bikes may not be transported away for race days, other bike parks or private off-site use.

  4. Return and talk through the ride

    Use the experience to discuss fit, handling, assistance and the model that best suits your riding.

Important demo conditions

  • All rides start and finish at the Biket store in Hillcrest
  • Demo bikes are not loaned for race days or use at other bike parks
  • You must leave identification, such as a driver’s licence, or your vehicle keys while riding
  • Bring your helmet, riding shoes and preferred pedals where applicable
  • The requested model, size and booking time remain subject to confirmation
  • The bicycle will be set up using your height, weight and pedal information

Local routes supplied

A Garmin can be supplied with local routes loaded, allowing you to select a suitable ride by time and distance if you do not know the area.

Book a ride guide

If you are uncomfortable riding alone, request a guide to accompany you, show you the local trails and answer questions about the bicycle.

Real trails, directly from the shop

The Rail Trail is approximately 50 metres from Biket and connects towards Giba Gorge, Summerveld Trails, Morewood and Cumec Park—giving you suitable terrain on which to properly evaluate a demo bike.
