01 — Full-time Senior Bicycle Technician

We’re hiring an experienced Senior Bicycle Technician to join our professional workshop team at Biket Hillcrest. This position is for someone who does not simply repair bicycles, but takes pride in delivering meticulous work every time.

Essential requirements

  • Five or more years of proven bicycle-mechanic experience
  • 30 years or older
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Professional, self-motivated and honest
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Punctual, reliable and willing to work additional hours when required

Workshop standards

  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Genuine pride in workmanship and high standards
  • Comfortable engaging with customers
  • A passion for cycling is highly advantageous
  • Every bicycle must leave the workshop properly prepared

Position details

  • Location: Hillcrest, KZN
  • Monday–Friday: 07:30–17:00
  • Saturday: 08:30–13:00
  • Sunday: Closed

02 — Full-time Sales, Bike Fitting & Inventory Management

This customer-facing position combines bicycle and equipment sales, practical bike setup, stock accuracy and a consistently high standard of service on the shop floor.

What you’ll do

  • Engage riders and match them with suitable bicycles, equipment and accessories
  • Deliver fast, knowledgeable in-store service
  • Assist with bike fitting and setup
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets
  • Own inventory accuracy and maintain strong showroom presentation
  • Stay current with cycling technology, trends and model-year changes

What you bring

  • Proven retail sales experience is essential
  • Inventory or stock-control experience is preferred
  • Strong communication, people skills and follow-through
  • Self-driven, honest and professional
  • Active cyclist, non-smoker and sober habits
  • Valid driver’s licence
