We’re hiring a Senior Bike Mechanic to join our professional workshop team at Biket Hillcrest. This role is for someone who doesn’t just fix bikes, but takes pride in delivering flawless work every time.

Requirements:

• 
  5+ years proven mechanical experience (essential)
  
• 
  30 years or older
  
• 
  Valid driver’s license
  
• 
  Professional, self-motivated, and honest
  
• 
  Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  
• 
  Punctuality and reliability are essential
  
• 
  Willing to put in extra hours when required
  
• 
  Meticulous attention to detail – every bike leaves the workshop perfect
  
• 
  Takes genuine pride in workmanship and high standards
  
• 
  Passion for cycling is highly advantageous
  

Position Details:

  Location: Hillcrest, KZN

  Hours:
  
  Monday–Friday: 7:30am – 5:00pm
  
  Saturday: 8:30am – 1:00pm
  
  Sundays : Closed

  Engage riders and match them to the right bikes, gear, and accessories.

  Deliver fast, expert in-store service with confident product knowledge.

  Assist with bike fitting & setup (experience helpful; attitude to learn is essential).

  Hit and exceed sales targets—consistently.
  
• 
  Own inventory accuracy and keep showroom displays sharp.
  
• 
  Stay ahead of cycling trends, tech, and model-year changes.
  

What you bring

  Proven retail sales experience (essential).
  
• 
  Inventory/stock control experience (preferred).
  
• 
  Real passion for cycling and the culture (huge advantage).
  
• 
  Strong communication, people skills, and follow-through.

  Self-driven, honest, professional.
  
• 
  Active cyclist, non-smoker, sober habits.
  
• 
  Valid driver’s licence.
