Karkloof Country Club

Karkloof Country Club is the official trailhead for an extensive, highly regarded network with riding for newcomers, marathon riders and experienced technical riders. The landscape mixes plantations, indigenous forest, open farmland, streams and the kind of purpose-built singletrack that rewards a full day—or an entire weekend.

Know before you ride

Day visitors must obtain a permit at Karkloof Country Club before entering the trail network. Riders must display the required armband or bike board and may not start elsewhere and buy access afterwards.

The trails cross private land. Follow current route signage, parking rules and closures, and do not use unmarked shortcuts.
