Clearance/Sale items are final clearance โ no size exchanges will be possible, as stock will not be replenished once the clearance sale is complete. Faulty or not-as-described products remain fully covered under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
SCVCN Photochromic Cycling Glasses combine a black wraparound frame with a sunlight-responsive lens for everyday riding. The photochromic tint darkens in direct sunlight and becomes lighter as exposure reduces, making these cycling sunglasses a practical option for routes with changing light conditions.
Product facts
- Brand: SCVCN.
- Lens: photochromic, with UV400 protection.
- Frame colour: black.
- Design: wide, shield-style lens with a full frame.

How the photochromic lens works
The lens responds to sunlight by changing its tint. This adjustment is gradual: sunlight intensity and temperature affect how quickly and how much it changes. Allow time for the lens to adapt when moving between brighter and more shaded areas.
For road rides, commuting or time on the trails, check the fit with your cycling helmet. The glasses should sit securely without the arms pressing against the helmet straps.
Frequently asked questions
How quickly do the lenses change tint?
The response varies with sunlight intensity and temperature. Tint changes are gradual rather than instant, so a single fixed transition time does not apply to every ride.
Do I need to swap lenses for the tint to change?
No. The supplied photochromic lens changes tint automatically in response to sunlight. You do not need to replace it to activate this feature.
What is included?
This listing is for one pair of SCVCN photochromic cycling glasses in black. Additional lenses and accessories are not listed as included.
Can I order these cycling glasses in South Africa?
Yes. Order online from Biket, based in Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal, for delivery across South Africa. See our shipping policy for delivery details and check the product page for current stock and pricing.
